1. WHY I SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO GO TO THE BEACH FOR SPRING BREAK By Cam

2. BASIC INFORMATION  People going: Me, Tori, & Michelle  When we would leave: 7-8 in the morning  When we would get back: 10-11 @ night  What we would do: Drive down to the beach, hang out there, get food and hang out around whatever city we decide to go to, & then drive back

3. WHY WE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO GO

4. 1. THERE WOULD BE MORE THAN ONE LICENSED DRIVER  I am able to drive, & so is Tori, so if one of us got tired we could switch & that way we wouldn’t be overworking ourselves  We both have our waivers so we wouldn’t have to rush to get back before 8

5. 2. I CAN LEARN HOW TO DO STUFF LIKE FIX TIRES  Last summer, you were worried that Carolyn & I both wouldn’t be able to fix a tire or something if there was some kind of malfunction with the car  I still don’t know how to do that kind of stuff, but I would be willing to learn if one of you wanted to teach me because that is a good thing to know for life in general, not just this trip

I HAVE A WORKING PHONE AGAIN  Since I have a phone w/ data again, I will constantly be able to call you guys to let you know how we’re doing & where we are  Michelle & Tori also have phones so it wouldn’t just be me alone who is able to contact parents  We all have chargers & portable chargers so we can always have our phones charged

IT WILL SHOW THAT WE ARE RESPONSIBLE  We are all 16 years old, and capable of handling responsibilities  You will be trusting me to go to Governor’s School (if I get in), so this will be like practice for going somewhere on my own  Except I won’t even be completely alone! Obviously, the three of us would all stay together, and wouldn’t separate to go anywhere

IT’S SPRING BREAK!  Spring Break is when we’re able to take a break from the stress of school and finally be able to do fun stuff  I would be responsible the entire time, make sure I don’t spend too much money, & wouldn’t do anything dangerous  I also believe that as I get older, I should be trusted more to do more stuff, especially something like this because we’ve been planning it out and I even made this whole PowerPoint instead of just asking to go
