3 Educational principles of supervision Learning is best seen as part of a cycle of activities rather than as a one-off event ‘Supervisees’ are more likely to learn when they themselves perceive a gap between what they currently know and what they need to know ‘Supervises’ need to be able to make the connection between any new learning and their current knowledge
