CREATING PASSWORD SAFETY By: Kyra Scoby-Hamilton
2
Things To Avoid When Creating a Password Don’t use names and dates because the password thief would know your name or date of birth which could be used for identity thief. ( Ex. ElizabethAnderson12/3/90) Don’t use random symbols, letter, and numbers because you would probably forget the password. (Ex. 2hty4i7d# or Dirn3^nsg)
3
Things To Use When Creating Password Use 8 or more characters to build a strong password. Use a password that u would remember like your favorite song or book. (Ex. Beehive or Big Time Rush) It would be helpful to add some number or numbers to passwords to make it more difficult to figure them out. ( Ex. Sassyclassy15 or alwayzballin59)
4
Ways to Remember Password Study password every night like its notes from a teacher. Write password down 10 or 15 times then rip the paper up because studies show that writing notes down helps keep them to memory.
