4. Guiding Q&A 1 Q: Who's the Main Character? Explain him. A: The Main Character[s] is/are Bud. He is Brave and Respectful. Bud is very Brave, and I have many examples when he was Brave. One is when he was in the Amoses shed. The Amoses adopted him and were really jerkish and mean. They made him sleep in a dark shed with covered windows. He did not cry, and went in. He then, hit a hornets nest which he thought was a vampire bat, and got 60,000 hornets mad. Either way, that was Brave. He then uncovered the window, smashed it open with his fists, and jumped out, while being stung a 100 times. Wow! After, he broke into their house, got his stuff, and was thinking of murdering the Amoses!!! Crazy! He is also very respectful. He is always calling people “sir,” and “ma’am.” That’s pretty respectful, for a 10 year old kid, and its constant! Wow!

5. Guiding Q&A 2 Q: What is the setting? A: The setting is in Flint and Grand Rapids, in Michigan during the 1930’s while the Great Depression was occurring.

He cant go back, or they will call the police and be mean to him and he cant go to the Orphanage house, or they will return him back to the Amoses, so the only thing to do is walk 24 hours to Grand Rapids and find his dad. I hope he survives!

Bud finds out Herman is his Grandfather, not his Father Bud gets a new horn to play with the Band from Steddy Eddie
