Logging into the computers 1.Username: a)first initial b)middle initial c)last name [if you have two last names that you registered with, write both with no space between. Turnitin.com 1.Click on the Turnitin.com login page (must be on Google Chrome) 2.Click “create account” under login box on upper right side of page 3.Under the heading “Create new account” select “student” a)Note: if you already have an account from another class, follow the instructions for additional classes. 4.Fill in the class ID a)2 hour: 10319973 b)3 hour: 10319987 c)4 hour: 1031995 5.Fill in the class enrollment password: 1whale 6.Enter in your user information. Use your school email account. 7.Create and confirm your password. Write your pw on user instruction page. 8.Select a secret question and answer combination. Record information on page. 9.Click “I agree” to user agreement then enter into your account to finish the enrollment.

Plagiarism Quiz 1.Go to Mrs. Orr’s Web page; Lesson’s & Assignments 2.Click on Plagiarism Quiz 3.Take quiz and check each answer. a)Take notes on the back of Turnitin.com student user instruction page b)Record and circle on the bottom of the page your score.

Create a new folder on Google Drive 1.Open MPSConnect email 2.Upper right side click Google apps [9 small dots that look like a rubrics cube] 3.Select Google drive 4.Select New [left hand side] 5.Select folder 6.Name folder English

Using Microsoft Word Using the directions page for “Assignment: Using Microsoft Word” create a Word document. Save onto desktop Follow directions on Turnitin.com Student User Instructions page to submit an assignment. Do NOT cut and paste Upload “Assignment: Using Microsoft Word” to your Google folder Go to Google drive Select “New” Select “File Upload” Select from desktop
