HIGHLIGHTED CHALLENGES Improvements No Priority List of ALL Projects Funding Source is not pertinent One list of all of the jurisdictional projects Current priory lists not based on data (complaint driven) Working off of Transportation Alternative List Contact Area Superintendents Proposed projects may only impact 2 students (cost/benefit) This group can assist with project prioritization methodology & research Hazardous walking conditions Missing sidewalk segments Number of students impacted Courtesy busing Education Difficult to obtain survey data required for funding from the schools No one contact, have to go school by school Funds are allocated for paper surveys that may not be completed Many different groups and programs, but no one source to ensure all students are getting the information 18
