Additional Information Miami has a university seal, known as “the Hub,” embedded in the center of campus. It is a tradition to avoid stepping on the seal for respect to the university’s history and values. If you do step on the seal, it is believed that you will be punished by failing your next exam.

Positive things about the school is that its not too far from home and they have courses I would like to major and minor in. A negative thing about it is that it’s expensive (just like every other college) but there are also many ways to help pay for the expenses. They have sports I would like to go there for, such as volleyball or track. One fact that interests me is that one of Miami University's most famous graduates was Benjamin Harrison, who later became the 23rd President of the United States. This school is one of my top choices.
