Meet Ms. Scheurich I have been in the education field for over 25 years I have two children Andrew (26) lives and works in NYC Becca (23) is married and is currently working on her PhD at McGill University in Montreal In my spare time, I enjoy reading, travelling, walking, and attending the symphony and the opera

Literacy The biggest change from 2 nd grade to 3 rd grade is the transition from oral answers to showing responses in writing. This year we will be implementing the Mondo Bookshop Curriculum.. Our class will begin Great Books in January!

Math Multiplication and Division 0-10 Measurement, Time, and Graphs Multi-digit Addition and Subtraction Writing Equations to Solve Word Problems Polygons, Perimeter, and Area Exploring Fractions Students will be expected to know all of their math facts by the end of 3 rd grade!

Homework Students fill out Binder Reminders with the night’s homework. Reading at least 20 minutes a night Students will have Math homework most nights (M-Th), with the exception of Fridays (weekends). Other homework may include: studying spelling words, research for writing, or project work.
