CHARACTERISTICS OF EDUCATION Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering UNTIL 1992: general AIR TRAFFIC COURSE which lasted for 9 semesters plus a period for diploma thesis. FROM 1992: Department of Aeronautics was founded including three different courses: 1.AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL – 5 semesters 2.CIVIL PILOT – 5 semesters 3.MILITARY PILOT – 9 semesters

Civil pilot course – flight simulator and flight training (within the Faculty's Croatian Aviation Training Centre) Military pilot course - after five theoretical semesters the students continue their practical training at the Aviation Military Training Centre Air Traffic Control course – ATC simulator training in the co-ordination with Croatia Control Ltd.
