2 Center for Technology and Aging  Established in 2009 with funding from The SCAN Foundation, located at the Public Health Institute  Mission: Expand use of technologies that help older adults lead healthier lives and maintain independence  Independent, non-profit resource center on issues related to diffusion of technology for older adults  Technology Diffusion Grants Programs  e.g., Tech4Impact grant

3 CTA Collaboration with AoA, CMS  Tech4Impact a private/public collaboration  Tech4Impact complements Option D grant  Other Tech4Impact Stakeholders  Grant applicants: State Units on Aging  Grant program implementers: ADRCs and their community partners (e.g., community hospitals)  Patients/Consumers targeted: Those transitioning from hospital to home or other similar settings
