Kentucky fortunate to date in terms of nursing shortage, only a matter of time Beginning 2012 and by 2020 Kentucky will need additional 6,800 nurses Kentucky has 12 BSN and 24 Associate Degree programs Graduate 2 + associate degree nurses (1,371 graduated 2005) for 1 BSN (633 graduated) Overall enrollments have grown Highly competitive undergraduate and graduate market UK nursing must differentiate itself
