Questions addressed:  How can we define and operationalise Export Success?  What Export Objectives do firms pursue and what is their relative importance when assessing success?  What is the Time Horizon (short- vs. long-term) employed?  What is the Frame of Reference (own export plan, vs. competition) against which performance is assessed?  What are the contextual factors that may have an impact on export performance assessments?  What are the Determinants of export firms’ success?
