Setting The setting of this story is Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones’ apartment.

Plot A boy tries to steal a woman’s purse, but the woman stops him. She takes him to her apartment and feeds him, cleans him, and sets him straight.

Mood This story, in my opinion,put me in a humorous mood.

Character Traits (main) Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones’ character trait was bold. Roger’s character trait was trustworthiness.

Conflict The conflict is when Roger tries to steal Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones’ purse in the beginning.
