Quick Facts 1.2015 marks out 5 th anniversary event 2.Our first year we had 1400 participants, 2015 had 4800 participants 3.The event is on Thanksgiving morning, November 26 th and begins at 9:00 am 4.For 2016 we estimate 5200 participants 5.The event benefits: The Boise Rescue Mission (food donations and financial donations), The Cathedral of the Rockies community outreach programs, Girls on the Run and Boise Special Olympics as well as the City Light Women and Children’s Shelter 6.The event operating budget is over $80,000. Almost all of this amount is spent with locally owned businesses

Event Set Up and Tear Down Schedule Wednesday November 25 th Capitol Blvd between Main and Idaho: 7:00 pm road closure Tents and event fencing load in (no tents larger than 20 x 30 – open fronts, backs and side covers only) Toilet load in 8 pm – traffic stop from turning right into Capitol from Idaho – Finish line load in 8 pm – sound check Finish line/festival set up complete – 10:00 pm Thursday 5:30 am staff on site. Finishing touches on Capitol and Main Street (start line) Course signage placed Balloons set at start and finish Aid Station dropped TEAR DOWN COMPLETED BY NOON

Downtown Set Up Start line on Main Street at 6 th (West Side of 6 th ) Aid Station located at North Junior High School on 14 th and Fort St. Finish line on Capitol between Bannock and Idaho Finish Festival on Capitol between Idaho and Main

Set Up – continued Porta Pros delivery of porta potties and hand washing stations at the following locations: Capitol south of Main (30) Idaho (NE side of Capitol) 20 4 Handicap Accessible units 6 handwashing station Trash and Recycling Again our focus in on being GREEN. 30 recycling and 20 trash containers Our green team will be reminding participants to use the recycle bins We will again use the dumpsters in the Capitol City Garage

TD5K 2015 Communications & Emergency Plan All Leads have lanyards with contact information for all Leads Sgt’s Flemming/Wilson will be key point of contact for any emergency. They are on course and can get in touch with on site ambulance and coordinate any other emergency services Cell phones need to be on and charged. ADA County Paramedics will be on stationed at Capitol and Idaho from 8am until 11:30am. St. Luke’s has been notified of the event to alert their staff. There will be an information / lost child tent located on the east side of Capitol in front of City Hall

Additional Information 220 total volunteer positions Live music (Brooke Wilson – Cellist) before the race: 8 am until race start Live music ( Soul Patch – family Country Western) at the finish 9:05 – 10:30 am This year’s title sponsor will be Shu’s Idaho Running Company All participants receive the event shirt and finish line photography All food is individually wrapped, no cooking on site Coffee and Hot Chocolate provided by Goldy’s Bottled water Cookies Insurance Certificates - Certificates for the City of Boise and the ADA County Highway District from Philadelphia Insurance will be in hand by this Friday 9/25.
