2 Come to Class Prepared Get to class on time Keep materials out of the walkways Have something to write with

3 No food, drink, or gum allowed in class Any food, drink or gum brought into class will be disposed of.

4 Stay in Your Assigned Seat Stay in your seat the entire period.

5 Grades It is the teacher’s responsibility to grade your assignment It is the student’s responsibility to check their grades on Edline If you notice a problem with your grade, you should notify the teacher ASAP

6 No Talking While the Teacher or a Fellow Student is Speaking It is Rude & Disrespectful!

7 Respect all equipment No banging on the Mouse, Keyboard, or Desk If something is not working, let the teacher know IMMEDIATELY – Do not try to fix it yourself

8 You May Print Only My Exercises See me for exceptions Always PREVIEW before printing

9 Electronic Devices Headphones may be used AFTER the teacher has finished giving instruction. This privilege CAN be taken away. Only YOU should be able to hear the sounds from your headphones Teacher WILL confiscate all Cell Phones, Ipods, Etc. that they see.

10 Stay On-Task Games Surfing the Web Work for another class ALL class assignments must be completed before doing any of the following:

11 Raise Your Hand If you Have a Question I will do my best to get to you in the order in which you ask for help. Don’t call out my name repeatedly

12 Having Difficulty? 1. Try again / Explore 2. Ask the people around you 3. Ask the teacher

13 Plagiarism Cheating or Copying will result in: 1 st Offense A zero grade for that assignment Contact of your parents & principals 2 nd Offense = greater consequences Principals take this very seriously

14 Before the bell rings Stay seated until you are dismissed DO NOT line up at the door! Also, do not change your seat to be closer to the door

15 Complaints & Concerns Would I be better off addressing this with them after class? Before addressing the teacher with a concern or complaint, ask yourself the following:
