3 Grammar Practice : Add this to the correct page in your binder. A. Eliminate prepositional phrases. B. Find the subject, and identify what it is (an indefinite pronoun, a collective noun, or just a regular noun or pronoun). C. Determine if the verb is correct or not. D. 6 Instructions: 1) Make sure you have a proper heading on the piece of loose leaf paper that you stapled to the top of your 3 poems. 2) Re-read the poems we annotated this week. 3) In a moment, you’ll see 4 animals to choose from. Select the animal that you think best represents each poem. On your paper, write down the animal and an explanation of why you made your selection. Make sure to include an example from the poem to support your answer. 4) If there are not quadrants on the board, skip #4. If there are quadrants on the board, place a sticky note in the quadrant that represents your choice.
