Cooling machines production Inner Tracker / Tracker Trigger Paolo Guglielmini - TS / CV LHCb Install Meeting - 24/05/2006 -test at Contractor’s premises partially failing: heat intake from pumps engines exceeding expectations, new exchangers and compressors needed to be installed  modifications performed -new tests to be done on site to validate thermal performances -connection to transfer lines, water and air networks, backup chiller, cabling, construction of retention bund, connection to waste water  done -powering  done by TS/EL -filling up with C6F14  concluded -backup chiller  installed and cabled -electric and control cubicle tested, functionalities checked, XBT control panel verified, few minor modifications demanded NEXT STEPPerformance test with dummy load on the stations only

3. Cooling machines production OT/SPD/PS - RICHes stations Paolo Guglielmini - TS / CV LHCb Install Meeting - 24/05/2006 -performance tests at Contractor’s premises simulating heat charge and impedance  satisfactory -connection to transfer lines, water and air networks, backup chiller, cabling, construction of retention bunds, connection to waste water  done -powering  done by TS/EL -filling up with C6F14 for RICH  concluded -refill line from demineralised water network  done Thanks to Sylvain and DBS team for stations and tanks handling NEXT STEPComplete test on the cooling loop

4. COMMISSIONING strategy Paolo Guglielmini - TS / CV LHCb Install Meeting - 24/05/2006 Pre-acceptance: - Test with dummy load on IT/TT Final acceptance : - Hydraulic test on detector cooling loops Final commissioning worth to be perfomed individually for each cooling station at the presence of the company  agreement ongoing

6. VELO CO2 transfer lines Paolo Guglielmini - TS / CV LHCb Install Meeting - 24/05/2006 -Concentrical lines installed, pneumatic pressure test [125 bar] and helium leak test [10-7 mbar l/s] successfully performed, insulation partially installed -Modification to be evaluated with LHCb, agreed and planned with SIMIND
