2  Choose a quote from an opening line from a movie, book or play  Copy the quote onto a sheet of notebook paper.  Use the opening line as the first line in your story  Invent a story with a beginning, a middle and an end  About ½ to 1 page long

Choose one of these opening lines/quotes to write your story: 1. “I am an invisible man” 2. “It was love at first sight” 3. “It was the day my grandmother exploded” 4. “I write this sitting in the kitchen sink” 5. “Once upon a time, there was a woman who discovered she had turned into the wrong person”

4 TIPS:  Who or What is speaking?  You? Man/Woman? boy/girl? fish? pizza box?  When/Where does it take place?  Past? Present? Future?  Earth? Space  Middle Earth?  1930’s Brooklyln?
