About Me! My name is Cynthia, but I usually go by Cindy, I am 26 years young, born in Philadelphia and raised in a small town in South Jersey. I just completed my Bachelor’s degree a couple of weeks ago and decided that it would best to continue my Master’s while I am in “school mode”. Currently, I work part-time doing catering type work for a company that I worked for in the past, as a stepping stone while I am job searching! I have a 4 soon-to-be 5 year old daughter, Madison, who keeps us busy with dance, T-ball, and being a girl! During my spare time I like to clean, organize, scrapbook, and hang out with the family! The picture to the right is my husband and I on our Disney vacation in November! Madison took our picture!

Education I am a strong advocate for Education and believe that you can never stop learning! I attended public school for my Elementary years, middle school, and high school. I graduated high school in 2005 and went to a private college in Philadelphia, Holy Family University. I spent three semesters there before I continued to work full- time and put my education on hold. It was in 2010 when I decided to go back to school and start my journey at Ashford. One key experience would be the sportsmanship, ever-lasting friendships, and different lessons on diversity I obtained during my high-school years. Most of the family, July 4 th, Dads 60 th Birthday

For the future… My short-term goals include obtaining an assistant or Director position at a pre-school. My long-term goals include owning and operating my own learning center, after having a sustainable amount of experience running a center and managing my own business. I believe that a Master’s degree will help me achieve both my short and long term goals, as well as, give me more insight on how to teach in the present while utilizing all of the historic strategies and philosophies.
