39 DAY 6 Adventures in Writing If there is ever a fire in our school building, we will ring the fire alarm. First, the students and staff will leave the building and meet behind the school. Then, teachers will take attendance to be sure all of their students are out of the building. Finally, the students and staff will stay outside until we are told by the fire department that it is safe to return. We will make an announcement on the local radio station telling parents the school will close for the day if we can’t return to the school. Following this plan will help everyone to be safe if there is ever a fire in the building.
