2. Pleasant Grove Mascot Pleasant Grove’s mascot is the SHOOTING STARS I may see SHOOTING STARS on the walls at PGE.

3. The Front Office Area You may meet Mrs. Brooks, she is the first person to greet you at PGE. She is very friendly and helpful. You will find Mrs. Brooks at the front desk.

5. The School Resource Officer The School Resource Officer is Deputy Bogart. He is there to help students that might need someone to talk with. Deputy Bogart also leads the F.O.C.U.S. group for the Fifth Graders.

6. The Clinic If you are not feeling well, you may go to the clinic and see the Health Room Attendant. She may take your temperature or give you your medicine, if you have to take any at school.

7. The Media Center and Tech You may go to the library for class assignments. You may be able to take books out of the library for your class work if you need to, or you may just take out your favorite books. The Media Specialist is Mrs. Leanna Boynton and she can help you with checking out books and answer questions about the library.

8. PE Class Ms. Venazarro There is also another PE teacher. Her name is Ms. Hellenburger.

9. The Art Room Ms. Gucciardo

10. Music The Music Teacher is Mrs. Crawford who travels from class to class so there is no Music Room. We may learn songs to sing and hear musical instruments being played.

11. The Cafeteria You will go to the Cafeteria for your lunch. You may bring your lunch from home or buy one from the cafeteria. You may be able to buy an ice cream or a snack. Assemblies and special programs may also be held in the cafeteria.
