Background Info Ralph Lipshitz was born on October 14 th, 1939 in New York City to Jewish parents. At age 28, he changed his name and went into business selling ties under the brand name polo. Ralph Lauren Corporation had soon developed into an upscale American lifestyle company and fashion retailer. 3

The Products! Ralph Lauren focuses on high-end clothes for men and women, as well as accessories, footwear, fragrances, home (bedding, towels) and housewares We even manage other companies that have the similar concept as theirs. Believe it or not, our company also runs a line of restaurants. Now you can look good while eating good! 4

Started from the bottom... Now we’re here! In 2007, our company had over 35 boutiques in the U.S. alone and started expanding internationally to London, Moscow, Malian, and Tokyo! At that point, our company revenue had reached to 4.2 billion dollars! We opened in Paris in 2010, which was a great accomplishment for our company. 5

We’re growing, and growing, and growing! Today they are approximately 180 full price stores, 171 factory stores, and 281 concession based shops. With that being said, there are a total of 631 locations worldwide. Locations of our company stretch out from the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Oceania! 6
