INTRODUCTION Doctor- patient communication Patients want better communication with their doctors (Duffy et al. 2004). Many medical schools have adjusted their curricula to include some form of training in effective patient–provider communication (Bowyer et al. 2010; Purdy & Hindenlang 2005; Ziviani et al. 2004). Web TV program on YouTube Learning English through YouTube involves listening, speaking and communication skills. YouTube is effective in increasing skills both in a lab setting and in the general public (Lee & Lehto 2013; Fat et al. 2011). However, there are limited researches on the usage of YouTube videos to enhance communication skills.

THE BENEFITS OF GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILL The doctor-patient relationship is improved (Centre for Change and Innovation 2003). Helps the patient to recall information and comply with treatment instructions thereby improving patient satisfaction (Maguire & Pitceathly 2002; Hulsman et al. 2002). Improve patient health and outcomes. (Meryn 1998). Reduce the incidence of clinical error (Centre for Change and Innovation 2003). For patients

Reduce emotional burn-out and low personal accomplishment in doctors as well as high psychological morbidity (Feinmann 2002). Enhance job satisfaction (Panagopoulou & Benos 2004). Patients are less likely to complain if doctors communicate well. Therefore, a reduced likelihood of doctors being sued (Centre for Change and Innovation 2003). FEATURES OF YOUTUBE WEB TV PROGRAM Educational Video White et al. (2000) recognizes various video tutorials advantages compared with print materials, such as supporting a variety of visual, audio components, in the context of enhanced learning, and better control medium Web TV Program Autonomous and collaborative learning (Maslawati et al. 2011). Role- play & Simulation Increases interest in the subject matter and understanding of course content (Poorman, 2002). Improve communication skills (Chien et al. 2003). YouTube as a Learning Tool YouTube in the classroom allows students to be more engaged in the learning process and encourages them to make connections between the text and real life experiences (Dunn 2011).

CHALLENGES IN USING WEB TV PROGRAM ON YOUTUBE TO ENHANCE COMMUNICATION SKILL Negative association to YouTube’s content. YouTube Edu and YouTube for Schools. Technical difficulties to access YouTube. internet access problems, limited upload speed, and insufficient amount of bandwidth. Role-play makes students uncomfortable to perform. Shy, awkward situations result in unproductive performance.

DISCUSSION & CONCLUSION Lecturers need to prepare suitable task to enhance medical students’ communication. Communication skill can be learned via educational videos – medical students will be exposed to the real world situation through videos. Web TV programs, videos on YouTube are tremendous resource for a multitude of educational endeavors – Proven to improve T&L.
