3 M O N T E N E G R O Negotiating Team for the Accession of Montenegro to the European Union Regulation on Mercury ((EC)1102/2008) Implementation of this Regulation has not started yet There are no sources from art. 2 Regulation 1102/2008 in Montenegro; there are no chlor-alkali industries, production of natural gas, non-ferrous mining and smelting operations related to metallic mercury or extraction cinnabar ore; The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism shall adopt a new Law on Environment which shall contain prohibitive provisions related to export of mercury as well as provisions related to safe storage of metallic mercury and certain mercury compounds; The Law shall be adopted in 2014.
