23 Select the SIXNET IO Tool Kit From Menu Bar to Open the Application

24 Click on “NO” Button

25 Select New Project from The Menu Bar.

26 Click on Add a new station to the Project and press OK Button

27 Select Dual Ethernet I/O Gateway From Drop Down Selection

28 Save the Project with the Name “DEMO”.

29 Supply the Station Name /Station Number / Serial Number and Station Type

30 Select the Ethernet-1 From Port List and Click on Configure Selected Port

31 Click on “Manually assign IP address” and assign IP address Value

32 Setting of Ethernet1 is changed as Configured value. Similarly Configure the Setting of Ethernet2. Click on Next Button to Go to the Next Screen.

33 Click on RS232 Port B and Select the Configure Selected Port button. Popup Screen will appear like above. Select Modbus RTU Master from the Drop Down List.

34 Supply the above parameters in all the Box

35 RS232 Port B will be Configured Like above. Click on Next button to Go to the Next Screen.

36 Click on Next Button to Go to the Next Button.

37 Select Virtual Module From the Drop Down Menu

38 Select Virtual LI from Drop Down Menu.

39 Select “DEMO1” as Module Tag Name

40 Select Next Button to Go to the Next Screen.

41 Add Num. registers value to 500 Click on Next Button to Go to the Next Screen.

42 Value in the Analog Tags will appear like That. Click on Finish Button to Complete the Configuration

43 Click on Next Button to Go to the Next Screen.

44 No. of Registers in the Project can be changed if the requirements is more than the Nos. Specified in the I/O Module.i.e.The value of Long Int ins is 1024 in the shown Pic. We can change it to 2048 if requirements is more than1024.

46 Click on No Button to Go to the Next Menu.

47 Click on OK Button to Proceed Next.

48 Click on Next Button to Go to the Next Screen.

51 Click on Station Type, the Above popup will appear. Select the I/O Transfers Module and Click on Wizard – Add new Transfer.

52 Above Pop-Up will appear. Select the Specify by station number.

53 Specify the Value to “1” on Remote Station Number Click Next to Go to the Next Screen.

54 Supply the “DEMO1” as the Transfer Name. Select Next Button to Go to the next Screen.

55 Select Read Modbus I/O as Transfer Type. Select Next Button to Go to the Next screen.

56 Select RS232 Port B From Drop Down List. Select Next button From to Go to the Next Screen.

57 Select Next Button to Go to the next Screen.

58 Select Next button to Go to the Next Screen.

59 Select I/O Type Long From Drop Down List.

60 Supply Modbus address 3001 Click Next Button to Go to the Next Screen.

61 Check all the Supplied Parameters and Click Finish Button.

62 Out-put of the Wizard Parameters. Click on Ok Button to finish the Wizard

64 Click on Load Button to Load the program inside the “RTU”.

65 Click on I/O Test to Check the Output.

66 Press No to Proceed Next. This message will come if you are using un-registered copy.
