Prime Service Area Reductions Takes place October 1, 2013 in all US regions Affects approximately 171,000 beneficiaries in Prime Early warning letters and brochure delivered to contractors – Mailings to take place over the next two months Beneficiary information, FAQs and sign up for e-mail updates by beneficiary category at www.tricare.mil/psawww.tricare.mil/psa Key messages: Active duty/family continue in Prime benefit; PSAs intended to support the delivery of health care around military treatment facilities; retirees/family may be able to re-enroll in Prime; Standard option is highly rated and convenient!
