1. SETTING UP NEW PROJECT IN CUBASE – (I’VE USED CUBASE BEFORE) MUSIC TECH

2. Before loading Cubase on your computer, it is necessary to set up your keyboard. First, switch your keyboard ON using red button.

3. Second, select PC mode by pushing PC button.

4. Using the wheel, select PC2 mode.

5. When you open CUBASE, you need to set up your New Project. In the Menu click File and select New Project

6. Click on MORE button, then select EMPTY

7. It is necessary to click on PROMPT FOR PROJECT LOCATION and then CONTINUE button

8. If error message appears, just click OK.

9. Select COMPUTER

10. Click on MUSIC(B:)

11. Select your year INTAKE

12. Find and select your name.

13. Click NEW FOLDER ( label it with the project name ) and then OK.

14. Your screen should look like this. You now have a blank project set up ready for your composition. Now SAVE YOUR WORK
