Community Living Principles Be Cooperative Be Safe Be Civil Be Involved
3
Be SAFE A truly safe campus can only be achieved through the involvement and cooperation of all its community members. University policies, programs, and services are designed to provide and promote a basis for a safer environment. Students and their parents should have a plan in the event an emergency affects the University.
4
Be SAFE Safety is EVERYONE’s responsibility! Know the Rules! Smoking is NOT permitted in the residence halls. Students under 21 are PROHIBITED from possessing or consuming alcoholic beverages. Illegal drug use or possession (including marijuana) will usually result in housing termination and/or suspension from the University. Know how to help a friend in need! If you are worried about a friend who has been drinking, seek assistance! The University has a policy which provides relief from disciplinary action if a student under the influence of alcohol on campus either calls for medical assistance for a friend or for one’s self.

Be CIVIL Sexual Orientation Gender Race Religion Ethnicity Ability Family Structure Socio-Economic Status 150 Countries
