Infrared Light
Radio Waves
Microwaves
X-Rays
Ultraviolet Light
Visible Light

The electromagnetic spectrum is an organized list of the different types of EM waves
This list is organized by wavelength:

4. Electromagnetic Waves
EM waves with long wavelengths have low frequency, and therefore have low energy.
EM waves with short wavelengths have high frequency, and therefore have high energy.
Because different types of EM waves carry different amounts of energy, they can be used for different purposes.

Visible light includes all the colors we can see.
RED light (next to infrared) has the longest wavelength and lowest frequency
PURPLE light (next to ultraviolet) has the shortest wavelength and the highest frequency
