2. WHAT IS “CML TODAY”? A mobile app for CML patients Available for free in the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. App StoreGoogle Play Available in 7 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew, Arabic (more will follow) The app is not limited to a specific drug, brand or manufacturer. It can thus be used by any CML patient treated in accordance with current therapeutic standards.

Tracks the regular intake of your medicine Reminds you to take your prescribed medication Tracks PCR results and other laboratory parameters Helps connect with local support groups in your country Shows worldwide CML Patient Organizations´ profiles containing useful information in the respective local language

4. WHY WAS “CML TODAY” DEVELOPED? Some background information: As in other chronic diseases, non-adherence to treatment is a well-known problem also in CML, where most patients need to take their medication on daily basis. In 2012-2013 the CML Advocates Network conducted a scientifically sound international study that aimed at investigating motivations and behavioral patterns of adherence in CML and subsequently supporting hematologists and patients to improve adherence by developing suitable adherence tools.
