3 Oversees Inventory control at POD Escorts the delivery drivers into the POD and performs inventory of all deliveries Informs POD Command Staff when supplies are low Gives POD Supervisor hourly updates of supply levels for hourly report to the DOC A Medication Tracking Chart will be kept by the POD Supply Lead for each POD. This will keep record of Medication being delivered to and taken from the POD. Take a few minutes to go over Medication Tracking Chart.

4 Point out where supplies are Explain what each of the supplies are and different terminology used to describe them A red card at a station means that they are low on supplies and requesting a Supply Runner. You need to go to the table to see what is needed. A blue card at a station means that they are low on medicine and requesting a Medication Runner.

5 Delivers medication to stations when blue card is held up. Signs out medication from POD Supply Room. Fills out Medication Runner’s Log Sheet to keep track of medication given to each station. Take a few minutes to go over Medication Runner’s Log Sheet. Looks for discrepancies of inventory logs at each station and their log and reports issues to POD Command Staff. Medication Runners need a blue badge to access medication

6 Delivers supplies other than medication to each station when they hold up the red card Signs out supplies from POD Supply Room Log Supply Runners require red badges to access supplies

7 If POD has been delivered formula for Pediatrics, the solution must be mixed by Pharmacist or under their supervision. Instructions will come with the Formula Take a few moments to go over the instructions if pediatric solution is available.
