DEPARTMENT GUIDE FOR CONSENSUS FACULTY SEARCHES BEFORE SEARCH SETTING UP THE POSTING Create Job Posting in PeopleSoft. Refer to Recruiting Solutions Manual (PDF) for instructions. Recruiting Solutions Manual (PDF) Add an “Office Only” posting description using the selection “Consensus”. For posting dates: Select the Job Posting Destination as “Other Source” from the drop down instead of “External-Faculty” and include the desired date range. Send email to consensus@louisville.edu to notify you have a posting you would like to run in Consensus.consensus@louisville.edu Include PeopleSoft job ID, advertisement, dates for the ad to run and committee member names with UofL user IDs. HR will create the posting in Consensus and follow up with additional instructions. AFTER SEARCH PREFERRED CANDIDATE SELECTED Send email to consensus@louisville.edu with both Consensus and PeopleSoft job ID numbers and the name of the preferred candidate.consensus@louisville.edu Search reviewed in HR and preferred candidate is linked to job ID in PeopleSoft. HR will send notification to department. Submit Job Offer in PeopleSoft. For instructions on the process review the Recruiting Solutions Manual (PDF). Recruiting Solutions Manual (PDF). Offer reviewed by HR and approved. Department completes hire with Faculty Affairs.

DEPARTMENT GUIDE FOR CONSENSUS STAFF SEARCHES BEFORE SEARCH SETTING UP THE POSTING AFTER SEARCH PREFERRED CANDIDATE SELECTED Send email to consensus@louisville.edu with both Consensus and PeopleSoft job ID numbers and the name of the preferred candidate.consensus@louisville.edu Search reviewed in HR and preferred candidate is linked to job ID in PeopleSoft. HR will send notification to department. Submit Job Offer in PeopleSoft. For instructions on the process review the Recruiting Solutions Manual (PDF). Recruiting Solutions Manual (PDF). Reviewed by HR and sends authorization to extend contingent offer to department. Department extends contingent offer to Preferred Candidate. Once accepted, department will initiate CBC then complete hiring process and notification of orientation date to new hire and HR. Create Job Posting in PeopleSoft. Recruiting Solutions Manual (PDF) Under Job Posting Information add position descriptions for underutilization, minimum qualifications, position description, equal opportunity employment and courier journal speed type using “Office Only”. Add an “Office Only” posting description using the selection “Consensus”.
