2. Summative Activity Lesson Plan Learning Objectives and Goals : The students will analyze and list explanations of historical events using pictures of these historical events. Learning Activities - At the conclusion of a historical unit, students will conduct a Google image search for 5 photos from events occurring during the historical unit of study. Students will enlarge pictures to full size image before saving to their tablet gallery.

3. PicSay Procedures Using the app PicSay, they will select one of their pictures. They will give the picture a title and add 2-3 captions for each picture that explain the picture as it relates to history and how the event impacted history and/or the World. Students can add effects and stickers to emphasize or design their PicSay Poster. Assignment Options: 1. Students can export the final images by email to their teacher. 2. Students can take a screenshot of each of their five picture posters. Then add them to a Google Doc for sharing with teacher. 3. Students could add a summative paragraph to the Google Doc connecting their 5 posters before sharing with the teacher.
