2. Scissor Safety
Scissors are ALWAYS locked/closed when you’re not using them!
Carry scissors pointed down (do not have them pointed out from you or up towards you)
Do not cut towards your body
Do not throw or slide scissors. If someone needs a pair, let them pick them up from the table

3. Needle and Pin Safety Pins: hold materials together
pointed toward center
Pin all corners
Keep pins out of mouth/skin
Pin down and back up
Keep pins in the sheets provided

4. Machine Safety Only sew assigned fabric Keep fingers away from needle
Only one person per machine-do not play with the machine or someone else’s project while they sew
Move the pedal slowly and guide fabric
Always be aware of where the needle is
