Begin with a sketch. Figure out what story you want to tell, what elements you want to combine, layout, etc. Remember Elements and Principles! (always.) Final art will be done on large-ish paper (or surface of your choice that you bring in), MIXED-MEDIA At least 3 different materials Photos/magazines can comprise no more than 20% of the piece (you gotta draw.) You can bring your own materials to work with! Think about alternative surfaces, unlikely materials becoming art. Incorporate sewing, computer parts, organic materials…get crazy! Your Assignment
