6. Add Audio to Your PowerPoint Presentation Please follow these steps to narrate your presentation: 1.If your computer is equipped with a microphone, you can include your narration in each slide. Please make sure you are in a noise-free environment For each slide in your presentation that will need audio narration: – On the Insert tab, in the Media group, click the arrow under Audio and then click Record Audio – Assign the Name for each slide (i.e. “Slide 3”) – Click  to start/resume your recording – Click  to stop/pause your recording – Click  to preview your recording and then click OK to save the recording – A speaker icon will be displayed in the center of the slide when complete, please move it to the top right hand corner as displayed in this slide sample

7. Optimize the Media in Your PowerPoint Presentation *Please note: Not all versions of PowerPoint have the capability to “Optimize Media”. If you are not able to “Optimize Media” for your PowerPoint presentation, please include your presentation with ALL the videos included in your PowerPoint presentation in a zipped file. 1.Click on the “File” tab at the top left of your PowerPoint program. 2.Click on the “Compress Media” button and select “Presentation Quality”.

8. Submit Your PowerPoint Presentation Option 1: Email your presentation to kpong@scai.org along with your photo (to be included in your online presentation).kpong@scai.org Option 2: Log-in to the SCAI Dropbox account using the following credentials: URL: www.Dropbox.comwww.Dropbox.com Username: kpong@scai.orgkpong@scai.org Password: Welcome2SCAI Upload your PowerPoint presentation (with optimized media) to the appropriate folder in Dropbox (i.e. If you are submitting your presentation to the Coronary Clinical Interest Section, upload your presentation file(s) to the “Upload Coronary Presentations” folder in the SCAI Dropbox). Email your photo (to be included in your online presentation) to Kimberly Pong at kpong@scai.org, and to let her know your presentation has been uploaded. kpong@scai.org
