Colleges and Schools of Pharmacy are all accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Our Accreditation Timeline Application for pre-candidate status in Spring 2011 submitted On-site consultation with ACPE in Spring 2011 completed Formal appearance with ACPE Board July 2011 completed On-site evaluation – October 25-27, 2011 completed

ACPE Board Meeting & formal appearance – January 19-22, 2012 completed Pre-candidate status granted - February 2012 completed Matriculation of inaugural class, August 2012 completed On-site evaluation for Candidate status – April 2013 completed Candidate status granted – May 2013 completed Candidate status continued through 2015 Inaugural class graduates in May 2016 Full Accreditation in 2016

4 year program First 3 years (P1 to P3) – didactic (classroom) + experiential Final year (P4) – experiential rotations 73 students per class Traditional course structure that includes integrated courses and assortment of electives

Throughout all 4 years of our program Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) IPPE 1 – Community: ▪ Two week rotation in December or January ▪ One half-day per week on-site in Spring Semester IPPE 2 – Institutional: ▪ Two week rotation in December or January ▪ Experiences through service learning count towards hours in P1, P2, and P3 years Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) 10 four-week rotations Required and elective

Utilize same rotational blocks as Butler and Purdue with regard to start and end dates Do not send students out in May Do send students out in December

Change VIEWING ACCESS to include STUDENTS.

You can review each student’s previous evaluations by other preceptors in Rxpreceptor This allows you to tailor the rotation to the student and maximize their educational experience

All rotations are Pass/No Pass Pass – “The student is proficient and consistently performs at or above expectations” No Pass – “The student performs below expectations consistently”

4 Point Assessment Scale Exceeds Expectations ▪ Performs the objective with a high degree of competence Meets Expectations ▪ Performs the objective with acceptable competence Needs Improvement ▪ Performs the objective marginally and is not fully competent Zero ▪ Intentionally does any of the following ▪ Deliberately breaches patient confidentiality ▪ Displays inappropriate attitudes and/or unethical behavior ▪ Behavior does not represent that of a professional
