There are plums, the specialities of Lorraine. Blénod is part of a region called « Lorraine ». Our school is in Blénod. It's a small town in the North-East of France, between Nancy and Metz.

There are about 4500 inhabitants in Blénod-Lès-Pont-à-Mousson. There are 2 nursery schools, two primary schools and our secondary school.

There are about 600 pupils and 50 teachers. It is a new school rebuilt in 2007. It is mostly made out of wood and concrete. Our lockers are under the covered playground.

School rules ● We don't have to carry our books around, because there are lockers. ● There is a school canteen, we don’t have to bring our lunch. ● We don't have to wear any uniforms.

We mustn't spit, swear, talk back to teachers. We mustn't eat or drink in class, but we can have a snack during the break time. We must be on time. We have to do our homework. We mustn't wear caps inside the school. School rules

Sports can be practised (other than PE) during lunchtime or on Wednesday afternoon since we don’t have school. There are football, handball and badminton teams and a fitness and dance club. Vincent Van Gogh's activities Each year, a Christmas market is organised inside our school. The money helps financing school trips. Once a year, pupils can go skiing for one day during the winter and in springtime they spend one day practising outdoors activities such as tree climbing ou canoeing.
