“A HOUSE DIVIDED…” Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) sprang up on college campuses Wanted political and economic reforms against govt. and businesses that were too powerful SDS wanted to take down the Man, man!

“A HOUSE DIVIDED…” 1967 was a major year for numerous marches by SDS and other protest groups on Washington D.C. Protesters typically were people in their late teens & into their 20s. These people thought the war was wrong and worried about a draft A draft lottery was finally called in 1969.
