3 First initial of design - -Insufficient theory - -Poor use of tool Failure - Excluding separating degree problem. - Use of incomplete antenna.

4 - MIMO antenna has a pattern with more than 2 monopole or PIFA antenna which performing the same operation. - Decided to develop as MIMO considering a separating degree after designing an antenna performing a complete operation. Initial trial of design

8 Secondary trial of design - -The rear band after 1GHz was easily changed depending on length and shape of antenna but the front band was difficult to numbers. - -Importance of the initial model. Firstly, catch gain and band width properly. - -There is no effect by length if arriving to the limit frequency.

11 - Meeting band of 1.2GHz~3GHz.

12 Third trial of design - Consider easiness of making. - Factor of change in frequency band : Position of a sudden power supply, and length and direction of antenna.

13 Change of design antenna Problem of separating degree of MIMO antenna. → Decide as single antenna. Monopole antenna requires length of λ/4, while PIFA antenna requires length of λ/2 for the same frequency band. → Decided as MIMO antenna. Plans to design monopole antenna with length 125mm to catch up the frequency band of 0.6GHz.

14 Target design Spec Bandwidth Including LTE band of 0.6G~3G - LTE700 (0.699G~0.798G) - LTE2300 (2.3G~2.4G) - LTE2500 (2.496G~2.690G) Size - 80*60*5 (mm)

15 Plan and target in future Find factors changing the front band of 1.2GHz. Obtain the front range and maintain the rear band. Meeting target Spec (0.6GHz~3GHz).
