ITGS2 Writing Assignment You need to express your opinion on what ITGS2 class items you would like to keep, change, add or get rid of Spring semester. Please use your binders to help with this assignment. Please type in a WORD document with a proper header. In this assignment you should include your thoughts on: Current Events, Tech Tuesdays, Daily Journals (including TOK prompts); Paper 1 and Paper 2, ITGS Project. Please mention various TOPICS you would like to debate as well. Feel free to write about any other ITGS activities YOU wish to include in this assignment. Assignment is due on Tuesday (1/26).

Get out any paperwork that is to be collected – it is DUE Tuesday (tomorrow). You will need your class syllabus today. Did you do your homework? Please use the Core Guide and your binders to help with this assignment. Please type in a WORD document with a proper header. In this assignment you should include your thoughts on: Daily Journals, Reflective Journals, Community and Service Hours, Language Development, Reflective Project. Feel free to write about any other ATL activities YOU wish to include in this assignment. Assignment is due on Tuesday (1/26) at the end of the period. Remember your ITGS2 Reflection is also DUE. PLEASE make 2 separate documents for these 2 assignments.

SEMI Journal 1/26/16 Open your journal file from yesterday and respond to the following questions underneath Journal #1 – PLEASE include the dates in ALL JOURNAL entries: What have you heard about this class or any of my prior classes? What have you heard about my teaching from others? Since this class is an elective, why did you sign up for it? (I am really glad you did!) Tell me about any Sports & Entertainment Marketing experience you have had in the past. How would you rate your computer skills? (1-5 scale) Is there anything you need help with on the computer?

ATL1 Journal 1/26/16 Open your journal file from yesterday and respond to the following questions underneath Journal #1 – PLEASE include the dates in ALL JOURNAL entries: : Tell me about WHY you joined IBCC. What do you hope to gain from ATL1 class? (What have your heard about ATL?) What other IB courses have you taken or are in currently? Why did you sign up for them? How would you rate your computer skills? (1= Low to none and 5=Can teach others) –Word –Excel –PowerPoint –Other Software you are familiar with? Is there anything you need help with on the computer?

SMART Goals S = Specific (What should be achieved?) M = Measurable (How will you know if goal is reached?) A = Achievable/Action-Plan (What do you accomplish?) R = Relevant/Realistic (Are the goals achievable?) T = Time Frame (By when? Include a time requirement)

IBCC2 1/26/16 Go and retrieve your ATL2 Binder because we will need for an activity about Language Development. You will need both of your logs today from Level 1 and Level 2. You will also need your Reflective Journals.

IBCC2 Reflective Journal Language Development Activity Students are to review their logs and then add up their hours for Level 1 (last year) and Level 2 this year and note them in their Reflective journals. Students should write down any thoughts or ideas about what else they need for Language Development for this semester. Be prepared to discuss as a class.

IMPRTANT: Write down your learning style on the inside of your nametag. Tell me if you agree or disagree with your learning style and why?

ATL1 - All About Me Poster You are to create an “All About Me” poster to hang in the classroom. Your name (first and last) needs to be located prominently on the front of the poster. Be creative – neatness, design layout and class time on task will be part of your grade. Please DO NOT print out anything to use on your poster (unless you do so at home). You can use magazines to cut items out and hand draw only. This is a hands on activity to share your creativity with your classmates. Your poster must include the following: –At least 5 magazine pictures or drawings of things you LIKE. –At least 5 words that describe YOU. –Your post high school plans (e.g. colleges, career, etc.) Have fun and let Ms. Draime know if you have any questions! This assignment is worth 100 points! It is DUE on Monday and you will PRESENT it to your classmates.
