Call Us: 00260962831707 National Parks in Tanzania Bemba is one of the languages spoken in Zambia. The Bemba word Mwatusanga has the happy meaning of “You have found us!” MTTZ uses the sense of discovery embodied in the word “Mwatusanga” to describe its collection of safaris in East, West, Central and Southern Africa.

Signature Safaris in Northern Tanzania For years, MTT has provided tailor made safaris in Northern Tanzania which include all the highlights — the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, and Serengeti National Parks — as well as more remote locations in the north, such as Lake Natron. Signature safaris focus on diversity of accommodations and activities, and the correct balance between remaining on the well-trodden safari route in order to experience the highlights and the route less trammeled in order to find privacy and uniqueness.

Southern and Western Tanzania The Selous is Africa’s largest game reserve and one of the greatest strongholds for the continent's remaining wildlife. East Africa's largest waterway, the Rufiji River, runs through it. If you take a boat safari, a unique activity that the Selous offers its visitors, any number of wildlife sightings is possible by the river - elephants, giraffes, hyenas, waterbucks, crocs, and hippos.

North & South Kafue National Park with Victoria Falls Kafue National Park remains a destination you can have all to yourself while everyone else is in South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi National Parks. Its highlights are herds of red lechwe and puku antelope; lion prides; and leopards. The diversity of habitat also makes Kafue National Park one of the best locations in Africa for birding.

Bat Migration, Kasanka National Park Between late October and the end of December, enormous numbers of fruit bats arrive to roost in Kasanka’s evergreen swamp forest. At dusk, the bats take to the air in their millions. Visitors view the bat-darkened sky from a tree-hide overlooking the swamp.

Western Zambia & Lower Zambezi River with Liuwa Plains National Park Liuwa Plains National Park is located next to the Angola border, on the upper Zambezi River floodplain and as far west as you can go in Zambia. Annual flooding of the Zambezi effectively isolates Liuwa Plains from the rest of the country December through April, although road access remains impossible until late July. This upper Zambezi River floodplain is part of Barotseland, home of the Lozi people and their king, the Litunga.
