© 2015 American Society for Healthcare Engineering Introduction The purpose of this task is to empower healthcare facilities and local chapters to seek out the financial savings of the E2C program. Throughout this presentation you will learn: *Ways that ASHE will reach out to chapters and hospital administrators with the benefits of the E2C program. *Tools to introduce the program that ASHE will make available to your facilities. *Benefits of the E2C program. 2

© 2015 American Society for Healthcare Engineering ASHE Outreach ASHE will produce a short video describing the purpose of the E2C program. This video will be made available to healthcare facilities to introduce the program. Some of the target audience ASHE is trying to reach is hospital administrators, local chapters, and facility managers. The relationship of ASHE and the role Mazzetti plays in helping hospitals with the E2C signup will be described in the video that will be available in 2016. 3

© 2015 American Society for Healthcare Engineering Tools to Introduce E2C The ASHE website will act as a source to find links to the E2C program. Healthcare facilities will be able to contact, and have the support of Mazzetti during theregistration process of the E2C program. A presentation at the annual ASHE leadership conference will help to introduce and give healthcare groups a better understanding of the E2C program. Local chapters will also have an E2C program liaison who will be able to answer questions about the program. 4

© 2015 American Society for Healthcare Engineering Tools to Introduce E2C Continued… At the ASHE annual conference there will be booths with additional information about the E2C program. The ASHE Sustainability Roadmap for Hospitals is a toolkit that helps healthcare facilities to jumpstart energy efficiency efforts. This Roadmap can be found on the following websites: ashe.org sustainabilityroadmap.org energytocare.com ASHE is working on putting this presentation in the hands of hospital administrators. A presentation will possibly be at the AHA annual conference. The informational video will be made available for hospital administrators to share with their staff. 5

© 2015 American Society for Healthcare Engineering Benefits of the E2C Program Real life case studies will be shared from hospitals who have benefited from the E2C program. E2C will help health care facilities to find out how to get the best return on financial investments and to see how your facility compares to those of your peers. Facilities will be able to track the impact of their efficiency projects by viewing EUI (energy use intensity) and consumption data over time. Teams will be able to access their data anywhere with the convenience and security of the cloud. 6

© 2015 American Society for Healthcare Engineering Benefits of the E2C Program Continued… Facilities will be able to participate in ASHE’s Energy to Care Awards program, which offers many forms of recognition including awards for display, press releases, ASHE publication spotlights and more.
