The War… An atomic bomb exploded during the war. The war began on the 1 st of September 1939 and ended on the 2 nd of September 1945. The war was between two teams; the Allies and the Axis The Allies included forty nine countries including: Australia, China, Egypt, France, great Britain, Greece, India, Iran, Mexico, Russia, New Zealand and United States. The Axis included Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Romania.
3
The Teams... I looked at the teams maybe a little bit different to you. The Allies could have been white because had more chance of winning for the reason that they contained more countries than the Axis. And in a chess game white is more likely to win because they can get a four move checkmate before black.
4
The Pawns... The pawns in the war were the fighters (they tried to defeat the other team) In a chess game the pawns are usually killed first.
5
The Castles... In the war the castles were used to hide in some times fighters would fire their weapons from up there. In a chess game the castle can over look the whole chess board and pieces.
6
The Knight... In the war the knight (horse) was used to travel and jump over objects. In a chess game the horse can jump over peices
7
The Bishop... In the war the bishop would bless the leader of the war to give the team luck. In a chess game the bishop helps the piece in danger.
8
The Queen... In the war the queen could of been the nurse who travels quickly to heal the wounded soldier. In a chess game the queen rushes to the piece that is about to die and kills the marking piece.
9
The King... In the war the king was the leader of the team. The kings did not fight. In a chess game the king is the leader a can not be defeated only checkmated.
