Homework Although we do have a “No Homework” policy, the boys may need to do any of the following: Unfinished classwork Work sent home for reinforcement Spelling Words and Vocabulary words to be studied at home Website activities –I-Ready, Discovery Education, and Think Central Franklin Academy does not require “busy” homework.

11. READING Read, read, read!! Students should be reading at home for a minimum of 30 minutes daily Instruction-whole group and small flexible groups Mix of text with emphasis on content area and non-fiction Benchmark- Quarterly Assessments Spelling and Vocabulary words - will go home weekly. Check the website on a regular basis! Cold Read Standards Based Tests Vocabulary, Comprehension, and Grammar Quizzes
