When trying to decide if a location is good or bad for a development what sort of things do you think that you need to think about? 1) Transport route and accessibility 2) The relief of the land 3) Climate (if suitable for the question – does it rain enough, will there be enough wind) 4) People – Is there a population near by? Does the development affect people, in what way? Can people get close to the development, do they have to? Will it cause conflict with the people? Does the development need people? 5) Benefits that the development could bring to the area. 6) Problems that the development could bring to the area. (Think about wildlife, other people) 7) Is the land protected in some way? Is it National Park land for example?
