18 CONSEQUENCE OF THE CONQUEST
The conquest of Gaul was an epochal event. By now, the destinies of Gaul and Rome walked in common streets;   GALLIA: begins a process of Romanization by building new city , roads and aqueducts, with the fusion of the two cultures into one.
