Learn to draw Angles using compass
2
60° Angle 1. Draw a line segment AB with the help of scale. A B 2. Make an arc with the help of a compass at point A. A B 3. Put the compass on point o draw an arc and join the cut point and A. A B o p o p 60°
3
120° Angle 1. Draw a line segment AB with the help of scale. A B 2. Make an arc with the help of a compass at point A. A B 3. Put the compass on point o and draw an arc. A B o p o p
4
4. Put the compass on the first cut and draw another arc and join the cut point and point A. 120° A B p o c C AB= 120°
5
180°(Straight) Angle 1. Draw a line segment AB with the help of scale. A B 2. Make an arc with the help of a compass at point A. A B 3. Put the compass on point o and draw an arc. A B o p o p
6
4. Put the compass on the first cut and draw another arc and then from point c draw one more arc. A B p o c
7
4. Join QA. A B p o c Q 180° QAB= 180°
8
90°(Right) Angle 1. Draw a line segment AB with the help of scale. A B 2. Make an arc with the help of a compass at point A. A B 3. Put the compass on point o and draw an arc. A B o p o p
9
4. Put the compass on the point m and c respectively and cut the arcs from both the points. A B o c m T
10
4. Join TA. A B o c m T 90° TAB= 90°
11
30° Angle 1. Draw a line segment AB with the help of scale. A B 2. Make an arc with the help of a compass at point A. A B 3. Put the compass on point o draw an arc. A B o p o p
12
4.Put the compass on point o and n respectively draw arcs from both the sides. And join the he generated point to A. A B op n M 30° MAB = 30°
13
A B o c m T 45° Angle 1 Draw the angle of 90° as learned before. Draw arcs from point n and o respectively and join the cut point to A. nP 45° It is very simple to draw the angle of 45°. We just bisect the angle of 90°.
14
We have learnt all the major angles and how to draw remaining ones. TIPS for the remaining ones are here. For 75°, cut an arc from 60° and another one from 90°. You will get the desired angle. For 105°, cut the arcs from 90° and 120°. For 150°, use 120° and 180° likewise For 115°,you need to choose 120° and 150°
