Target publishing FY 2018 Regulation streamlined to address “Policy” New DA PAM to address “Operations” New inspection forms Environmental Health Sanitation: Combines food sanitation (kitchen) inspection & general sanitation inspection Used for monthly inspections & annual comprehensive Initial release as IMCOM form; intent to publish as DA or DD Form AR 608-10, Child Care Services 3

UNCLASSIFIED Army Public Health Center (Provisional) Published 30 April 2014; based on 2009 FDA Food Code Update in progress— Applies changes from 2013 FDA Food Code Corrects errors & provides clarification for marking items on the inspection report New appendix provides Public Health Reasons Target dates: Staffing – 4 th quarter FY 16 Release – mid FY 17 Problems with fillable DD Form 2973, Food Operation Inspection Report Header information (Inspection Type) not transferred to subsequent pages; removed from page 1 if marked on subsequent pages. Does not allow you to mark more than 1 critical item within the same Item grouping. Does not allow you to unmark a critical item in the Item grouping once it has been selected. UNCLASSIFIED Army Public Health Center (Provisional) APHC Technical Guide 367 Facility Sanitation Surveillance Serves as an interim update to sanitation criteria provided in DA PAM 40-11 Appendix D: troop housing; recreation areas; sports facility/gym/fitness center Appendix E: barber & beauty shops Appendix F: mobile home parks Provides sanitation criteria not previously published— Child care operations: CDCs, FCC homes, Youth Services Day spas (specialty skin treatments) Laundry operations Detention facilities Recreational vehicle parks Body art (tattoos; piercings) Introduces procedures for conducting facility risk assessments for Beauty Operations and Fitness Operations Inspection frequencies linked to operational risk estimates Target release – FY 17 6
