LIMBS Arbitration Module is an easy to use web based tool for timely monitoring of entire life cycle of Arbitration cases. Simple user interface, brings all the stakeholders viz., claimant, respondent, arbitrator, user and Nodal Officer on a single platform to deal with arbitration cases in a time bound manner. Aims to boost efficiency of existing system by standardizing the litigation process, enabling real time tracking of arbitration cases in a transparent manner including generation of customized exceptions & statistical reports. Arbitration Module- Description LIMBS- Arbitration Module provides a close coordination of all the stakeholders involved in a claim case, viz. claimant, arbitrator, department user and nodal officer. Progress of arbitration cases can be monitored at all hierarchical levels. LIMBS provides various stakeholders an online panel by which they can provide their inputs and see the progress of a claim case on a real time basis- 1) Claimant Panel 2) User Panel 3) Reports to Higher Administration 6

Claimant Panel Registered users can raise online claim from LIMBS portal on a 24x7 basis OTP authenticated registration using claimant’s registered mobile number. LIMBS provides a simple interface to upload claim details having fields like contract number along with date, name of contract firm, name of respondent, brief description of work/claim and claim amount. Upload relevant documents during the life cycle of claim case like, appointment of arbitrator, next hearing and date award dates etc. via UDL. Know the progress of a case via online account and through system generated SMSs 7

Nodal Officer Panel Nodal Officer checks and scrutinizes the claim and sends the acceptance confirmation to the claimant accordingly. Transfer case to the concerned executive of a respective department Ensures data authentication and avoid any repetition. In case there is no nominated Nodal Officer available for a particular ministry then the case may be marked to the super Admin of LIMBS application, who can create and designate users as Nodal Officer of that particular ministry or department. 9

Receives SMS alerts for all the raised arbitration claims against the particular ministry LIMBS system allows the Nodal Officer to scrutinize the claims cases in a transparent and objective manner. Only after the Nodal Officer’s acceptance the status of a claim is made available for public viewing. Nodal Officer along with all higher officers can monitor the progress of arbitration cases. A Nodal Officer is an important link in the entire chain of arbitration case as only after his/her acceptance the received claims can proceed further. Advantages to Nodal Officer 10

The one page view of the report gives higher administration the bird’s eye view of various stages of claim cases including graphs to show the time taken at every stage while dealing with the cases. This can help to know where delay has occurred in a particular case. Report to Higher Administration 13

LIMBS application provides stage-wise details of the claim case which can highlight the issues pertaining to delays System generated SMSs to the concerned user and arbitrator to expedite the claim cases.
